Organisational Safeguarding: Principles and practice

This session will be delivered by provider representatives. It will include the delivery of a safeguarding practice presentation covering a number of elements including legislation, procedures, the role of the Safeguarding Adults Board, roles and responsibilities, decision-making and reporting.

The session will then focus on the sharing of information on safeguarding principles; what they are, what they mean in practice, relevant research and guidance, and what our responsibilities are. The hosts and attendees will work together to share examples of good and outstanding practice which have resulted in positive outcomes and can support the development of practice in other settings.
